Greatest Need

Greatest Need gifts are administered by our volunteer community board of directors who serve the Hospital and needs of the community.  On an annual basis, they review approved requests from Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital and make grants to the Hospital based on those requests. Since new projects and initiatives change frequently, gifts to the Annual Fund will be designated for Greatest Need, unless otherwise directed. 

Examples of programs or projects funded by Greatest Need gifts for 2007-2008 include:  

  • SANE - Waukesha County's comprehensive sexual assault program
  • Diabetes Education Programs
  • Healthy 'n Fit Families
  • Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program
  • 12 Lead EKG Project - connecting EKG machines used by Emergency Medical Services in the field to Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital's Emergency Room
