Each year a variety of events take place to help raise funds and awareness for the Waukesha Memorial Hospital Foundation. 

Walk to Care, Walk to Cure on Saturday, May 5th

Mark your calendars and plan to attend an upcoming team leader kick off or informational session for the annual ProHealth Care Walks for Cancer. At the upcoming February meetings, we'll share valuable information and networking opportunities for team leaders. Learn more about registering and fundraising, pick up brochures and event materials, meet other team captains, share tips on successful team recruitment and management. Also hear about how the dollars raised from the walks are put to work at our Regional Cancer Center.

Thursday, February 9, 3:30 - 7 p.m., Team Captain and Informational Open House, Waukesha Memorial Garden Grille. Stop by at your convenience to pick up your individual or team materials. A special program is scheduled from 5:30 - 6:15 p.m. that will feature instructions on how to use the website, a presentation from our 2012 Walk ambassador, and an update on the impact of the dollars at work in the community.

Dance the Winter Away and Celebrate Life at Teresa’s Benefit for Pancreatic Cancer (and AngelsGrace Hospice)

Saturday, February 18

 
Join the friends and family of Teresa Krier as they continue her legacy of hope with the fourth annual Teresa’s Benefit on Saturday, February 18 from 7 p.m. to midnight at Olympia Resort and Conference Center in Oconomowoc. This year’s entertainment is THE TOYS with special guest Ron Kujawa.

Tickets are $30 and include admission, hors d'oeuvres, live music and a silent auction. You can purchase tickets at AngelsGrace and Shield Family Dentistry, Summit Ave. in Oconomowoc prior to the event. Or you may purchase them at the door the night of the event.

Again, ProHealth Care's AngelsGrace Hospice is thrilled to be one of the beneficiaries of the Teresa’s Benefit Foundation and the fabulous event it creates each year. This benefit supports our hospice as well as pancreatic cancer research and advocacy. To date, AnglesGrace Hospice has received $60,000 of the net proceeds raised.
