A charitable gift annuity is a special way to support Waukesha Memorial Hospital, supplement your income, and receive a charitable deduction all at the same time!
How does a Charitable Gift Annuity work? The Charitable Gift Annuity is a contract by which you make a gift of cash or securities in exchange for a stipulated and guaranteed rate of return. The income payments are made for life on the lives of one or two people, with no investment worries or responsibilities.
The rate of return you receive (ranging from 5-11.3%) is based on your age at the time of making the gift. If payments are deferred for at least one year, the rate of return is increased.
The minimum gift amount is $10,000 for which you receive an attractive rate of return and at the same time, have the pleasure of helping the Waukesha Memorial Hospital medical program of choice fulfill its mission well into the future.
Why does Waukesha Memorial Hospital offer gift annuities? Because gift annuities create a win-win solution for both the donor and the hospital. Gift annuities enable our donor friends to make a difference in the lives of many served by Waukesha Memorial Hospital while retaining substantial benefits from that gift.
