AngelsGrace Hospice

Our Mission:

AngelsGrace Hospice will provide extraordinary care to patients in our facility, emphasizing quality of remaining life while alleviating pain and other symptoms.

Our Service:

Over 1,500 people have been touched by AngelsGrace Hospice since it opened its doors in 2004. The 15-bed facility is elegant, warm and homelike with meticulous grounds that make the most of Wisconsin's natural, outdoor beauty.  It is truly a place of great comfort and dignity for those at the end of their life's journey on earth.

AngelsGrace Hospice patients and families receive around-the-clock nursing care, grief counseling, and spiritual support from trained hospice nurses, physicians, social workers, counselors, chaplains, and volunteers.  There is an onsite chapel, living room, dining room, library, children's playroom, and a commercial kitchen that provides full service dining services throughout the day and 24-hour complimentary beverage and snack bar.  Most importantly the services are available to any qualified person with a terminal illness, regardless of age or diagnosis or financial resources.

AngelsGrace Hospice is unique.  It is the only dedicated, inpatient hospice in Waukesha County and offers distinct benefits such as:

  • Four levels of care: acute, residential, respite and continuous care
  • Unlimited access for family visitation
  • Patient and family-centered care and opportunities to be part of care planning
  • Alternative therapies like music, pet, massage, and art therapy.
  • Unlimited access for family visitation.

This high level of care requires significant financial resources and produces a financial loss in the AngelsGrace budget each year despite the fact that AngelsGrace has more than 200 trained volunteers whose duties include sitting with patients, spending time with patients, assisting with patients' dietary needs, landscaping hospice grounds and answering the phones.  These volunteer activities save AngelsGrace on average of $300,000 a year.

Fundraising Goal: $2 million
