In a disaster situation, which involves the illness and/or injury of a large number of people, ProHealth Care hospitals participate in an established system of collaboration with emergency services and area hospitals to assure the appropriate and timely treatment of patients affected by the incident.
News Media can obtain information about the number and severity of patients being treated at Waukesha Memorial Hospital and Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital on our Web site at http://www.ProHealthcare.org/. Updates will be posted as new information becomes available. Patient names will not be released.
Media interested in coordinating interviews with ProHealth Care doctors or hospital experts should page Sandra Peterson, ProHealth Care spokesperson and media relations at (414) 557-2754.
Media members who arrive on site at Waukesha Memorial Hospital or Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital should check in at the main entrance. Security will escort you to a designated media room, where updates will be given on a regular basis.
