Blaine is not only up and around, he's "skiing up a storm."

Blaine Himmelman, 80, of Minneapolis is an avid snow skier. So when numb toes and leg pain kept him off the slopes, and he was told locally that nothing could be done, he looked far and wide for help.

As luck would have it, a chance conversation with a fellow airline passenger led him to seek treatment with cardiologist Dr. Brian Nelson at Waukesha Memorial.

And, since his brother Dale is also suffering from the same peripheral vascular disease, Blaine now drives his brother to Waukesha for treatment.

"If Dr. Nelson can get us back into circulation, we're more than happy to make the trip."
