We help you grow in your profession
Our clinical ladder for advancement can take you from novice to expert nurse with exciting challenges along the way to expand your clinical knowledge and grow in responsibility and management. ProHealth Care’s structured nursing orientation includes clinical and Epic training, and we offer tuition reimbursement to encourage professional development.
For new nurses, we offer a nurse residency program during your first year of practice. The program helps you transition to build your nursing practice knowledge as well as a support system to face the challenges of your new role.
We also provide an academic partnership for ADN to BSN advancement, offering education onsite through the University of Wisconsin system. In addition, we offer financial support if you’re seeking national certification in your specialty.
Practicing an evidence-based practice model and shared governance
At ProHealth Care, we employ an evidence-based nursing practice model that uses research-based information to help make decisions about care delivery to individuals or groups of patients, considering individual needs and preferences.
When you choose a career in nursing at ProHealth Care, you’ll also have a voice in determining nursing practice, standards and quality of care, which reflect the high professional stature of nurses within our health care system. This structure honors all nursing disciplines and focuses on a team approach. All clinical departments have governance councils that represent all roles providing patient and family care.
