Behavioral Health nurse practitioners have advanced training in mental illness and its effect on other physical conditions such as the heart or blood pressure. They have the clinical expertise to assess, diagnose and treat behavioral health conditions and can prescribe medications and refer patients to a therapist for counseling. They are members of a treatment team that provides well-rounded medical care for the whole person.
"My goal is to guide individuals through their personal journeys - during both the weathering of storms and the celebration of successes - to support them in reaching their desired outcomes."
