Gundersen Health Plan will continue to offer ProHealth Senior Preferred Medicare Advantage health insurance in Waukesha County in 2019. ProHealth Senior Preferred is an HMO plan with a Medicare contract offered in partnership with ProHealth Solutions, ProHealth Care’s accountable care organization.
ProHealth Senior Preferred will be enrolling members with Medicare during the annual open enrollment period starting in October, for coverage beginning Jan. 1, 2019. Enrollees will have access to ProHealth Care’s local network of physicians, clinics and hospitals.
Medicare enrollees will be able to choose among three ProHealth Senior Preferred plans, selecting the premium, deductible and out-of-pocket responsibility that works for them. An option that has no monthly fee is included.
