ProHealth Medical Group has announced that advanced practice nurse practitioner Carrie Lapow, APNP, is accepting new pediatric patients in Muskego.
Nurse practitioners have advanced training that combines clinical expertise with an emphasis on disease prevention and wellness. They provide a full-range of services, including diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, managing chronic conditions, prescribing medications, and educating patients and their parents about health.
"I am passionate about caring for children and enjoy watching them grow through the years,” Lapow said. “To provide the best care possible, I believe it’s important to establish a trusting relationship with the child and family."
Lapow has been part of the medical team at ProHealth’s Muskego clinic for more than 15 years. She earned her doctorate of nursing practice from Marquette University and holds certifications in primary and pediatric nursing.
The ProHealth Medical Group clinic in Muskego is at S69 W15636 Janesville Road, near Moorland Road. If patients require procedures or hospitalization, they can be admitted to ProHealth Waukesha Memorial Hospital or ProHealth Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital.
