Lung Cancer Screening

Studies have shown that a screening using a CT scan of the lungs can detect tumors early and reduce lung cancer death by up to 20 percent for smokers. If you are age 55 to 80 and have a history of smoking a pack of cigarettes a day for 30 years or more, you may qualify for the screening.
