Specialists in caring for your ear, nose and throat
ProHealth Care is pleased to offer you otolaryngology services. Doctors in this specialty are often referred to as ENT physicians. Otolaryngologists (pronounced oh/toe/lair/in/goll/oh/gists) are physicians trained in the medical and surgical management and treatment of patients with diseases and disorders of the ear, nose, throat and related structures of the head and neck.
Patients see otolaryngologists because they are uniquely qualified to treat the disorders of the ears, nose, throat and related structures of the head and neck. Unlike many physicians, these specialists are trained in both medicine and surgery and do not need to refer patients to other physicians when ears, nose and throat, or head/neck surgery is needed.
