Pregnancy and Childbirth

Dear Friends,

Congratulations on your pregnancy! We look forward to sharing this journey with you.

This binder of prenatal, pregnancy, and birth information is meant to be a resource for you. We encourage you to acquaint yourself with its' contents. Not all areas may be of equal interest to you at this time. As your pregnancy progresses your questions and interests will likely change.

See site index for a complete listing of topics.

We need to thank over 13,000 women, who over the last five years, entrusted their prenatal care, their delivery, and postpartum care to the physicians and staff at either Waukesha Memorial or Oconomowoc Memorial Hospitals. Their experiences, questions, concerns and suggestions inspired the contents of this binder.

We would also like to thank you for choosing the physicians and staff of the ProHealth Care System to help you through your pregnancy. The staff at each of our facilities is committed to making your experience a positive one. We are backed by the most up-to-date technology and services available in Southeastern Wisconsin.

The binder is intended to provide clear, straightforward information. It is not intended to replace the very important conversations you need to have with your physician and health care providers throughout your pregnancy. If there are questions you have specific to your own pregnancy and situation you can contact Women's Center or contact your physician.

Relax, enjoy, and take care of yourself!

Sincerely,

Mary Jane Reichart, RN, MHA
