Sue Boex RD, CD
Dietician
The reason I love dietetics is because it is constantly changing. I
am always learning more to keep up with current research. Diabetes
education has become much more advanced with the continuous glucose
monitoring and insulin pumps patients now have available to improve
their glucose control. My current position with the ProHealth Care
Diabetes Center really challenges me to be an expert in diabetes
nutrition.

Martha Gleisner RN, BSN
Nurse Educator
I am a registered nurse working in the Diabetes Center in
Waukesha. My emphasis on diabetes education is to provide our clients
with the tools they need to evolve from being a “diabetic” to becoming an
individual with “well controlled diabetes”. This is done through a
collaborative approach with nurses, dieticians, nurse practitioners and
physicians. As a team we strive to design a lifestyle plan that will work
for each individual.

Theresa
Neumer RD, CD, CDE
Dietician
I have been a Diabetes Educator
for 10 years and my passion in caring for people with diabetes came from a
fascination of the metabolism of carbohydrates and blood glucose. As a person
who lives with Type 1 diabetes, it gives me an enlightened perspective
of the patients needs and the providers expectations. New technology has given
us the tools to educate and motivate a patient to find the right food, activity
and medication plan so they can control their diabetes instead of it
controlling them.
