AngelsGrace Hospice

While Medicare, Medicaid and a number of private insurance policies cover some of the costs associated hospice care, a great need still exists to cover operating expenses and care for those not covered by insurance.

The reality is that AngelsGrace operates at a substantial loss each year - a loss we need to make up through the support of generous donors who want to help others live their last days in dignity and peace.

Since AngelsGrace Hospice is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) charitable organization, all donations are tax deductible. There are a variety of ways you can help:

The Annual Fund
Donations to the Annual Fund help cover an anticipated $500,000 loss per year in uncompensated care at AngelsGrace Hospice, for those with little or no coverage or financial resources.

Gifts of Cash
Cash gifts have an immediate impact on our services to patients and families. Gifts may be made in memory or honor of a friend or loved one. You can easily double your contribution through a company matching gift program.

Endowed Named Funds
With a gift of $25,000 or more, payable over five years, donors can establish endowed named funds within AngelsGrace Hospice, with naming rights to one of our many amenities.

Gift of Appreciated Assets
Gifts of some non-cash assets such as common stock can offer valuable tax advantages to the donor, compared with cash gifts. Please discuss with your financial advisor the benefits of appreciated assets.

Gifts that Return Income
Life income agreements, such as charitable trusts and gift annuities, offer the opportunity for the donor to receive income during his or her lifetime while ultimately supporting the caring mission of AngelsGrace Hospice.

Gifts by Will
A simple sentence in your will, "I bequeath $___ or ___% of my estate to AngelsGrace Hospice" costs you nothing today, but will help the hospice in the future, while helping to reduce your estate taxes.

In-Kind Gifts
For donors who prefer to give items such as equipment, electronics or mechanical items, we have a detailed wish list of needed items for AngelsGrace. Financial contributions can also be earmarked for specific, needed items.

Remembrances & Celebrations
A variety of tribute opportunities to remember a loved one are available. Creating this timeless memory can be done as a tribute to a deceased family member, for an anniversary, birthday, Mother's Day, Father's Day or any other special event.

Special Events
Another way for individuals or companies to become involved is by coordinating or sponsoring a special event, with proceeds earmarked for AngelsGrace Hospice.
