Struggling with Postpartum Depression?

You're not alone

Many women are not prepared for the exhausting wide range of emotions they may experience after childbirth. Depression after childbirth is more common than you think.

About 10-15 percent of new moms show postpartum depression (PPD) symptoms for more than two weeks after having a baby. This condition interferes with your ability to care for your baby and handle other daily tasks. It's important to know that PPD can and should be treated.

ProHealth Care's Behavioral Medicine Center and Women's Center offers the first hospital-based postpartum depression support program in Wisconsin. Treatment is available through our inpatient, partial hospitalization and outpatient programs.
