Pre-existing diabetes and gestational diabetes (a form of diabetes that is found exclusively in pregnant women) are risky to both mother and fetus. Our Pregnancy and Diabetes Clinic experts develop individual treatment plans that may include exercise, diet modification and drug therapy to treat and control diabetes conditions in expectant moms.

My goal is to help our patients learn the tools to manage their diabetes during pre-conception, pregnancy and post partum. Our multi-disciplinary educational program enables us to individualize our patient’s needs and achieve our ultimate outcome of healthy mom and baby.
Roxanne Weber, RN, CDE, CCE
As a registered nurse, educator, and someone who lives with diabetes I feel it is important to create individual pathways of care based on needs of the patient. By doing so we are able to provide the practical tools and knowledge the patient needs to fit diabetes into their life. I believe it is about empowering the patient to become the center of their health care team.Learn more about the ProHealth Care Diabetes Center and staff.
