Botox®

BOTOX® is a protein that blocks the release of acetylcholine and relaxes muscles. Botox has been used in cosmetics for over 15 years in treating facial wrinkles in the forehead, between the eyes, and in the "crow's feet" areas (upper third of the face). Botox works by relaxing the muscles of facial expression, thus allowing the overlying skin to lay smoother, minimizing wrinkles. The end result is a more relaxed, rested look.
