Pilates

Pilates is a whole body conditioning program for all levels and needs. The practice develops core strength, endurance, and coordination without adding muscle bulk. It improves posture, increases energy, and promotes weight loss. Pilates also helps to lengthen the muscles and gives a long lean appearance to the body. The focus of Pilates is on strengthening the body's "core" or "powerhouse", that are the deep, internal muscles of the abdomen and back.  As the core muscles become stronger they begin to work in tandem with the more superficial muscles of the trunk to support the spine and overall movement. Students practicing Pilates regularly will learn to integrate its six principles, Centering, Control, Flow, Breath, Precision, and Concentration, in a variety of forms or routines to find balance, strength, and ease of movement.  

Improving your quality of life by fusing your body, mind and spirit is the goal of the well-being classes now being offered at Crossings Spa. Space is limited. Registration is required. Call 262-373-2630. (Drop-in is permitted for these classes at $15.00 per class if space permits.)

Pilates

Student learn to be aware of breathing patterns and spinal alignment while engaging the muscles of the back, abs, hips, and arms. The focus of this class is on strength as well as flexibility, coordination, improving posture, increasing lung capacity, and finding balance between the body & mind. The instructor will provide students with modifications as needed to ensure movements are completed safely and at the appropriate individual level of challenge. Welcome to ALL LEVELS.

"NEW" Pilates On the Ball

With the use of a stability ball, students will have fun learning the proper techniques to strengthen and stabilize core muscles, and gain muscle tone. This class will benefit the beginner to super-fit. This class will focus on overall development of muscular length & definition in your arms, abs, back, buttocks, and legs. Welcome to ALL LEVELS.
