T'ai Chi
T'ai Chi combines movement, meditation and breath regulation to enhance the flow of vital energy in the body, improve blood circulation, and boost immune functions. It is considered one of the most broadly applicable systems of self-care in the world, and millions of people practice T'ai Chi everyday.
Daily practice of T'ai Chi promotes mental clarity, assists with balance, helps blood circulation and develops strength and flexibility in the joints, muscles and ligaments. It is a low-impact aerobic exercise comparable to walking and is often used as a therapeutic exercise for those recovering from injury or illness.
