8 cups of whole grain cereal such as:
2 cups Shredded Wheat and Bran 2 cups Wheat Chex 2 cups Quaker Corn Bran 2 cups Quaker Toasted Oatmeal Squares
2 cups Shredded Wheat and Bran
2 cups Wheat Chex
2 cups Quaker Corn Bran
2 cups Quaker Toasted Oatmeal Squares
4 cups oat bran pretzel nuggets
¾ cup dry roasted unsalted soy nuts OR any other dry roasted or raw nut.
2/3 cup barbecue sauce (check sodium and choose a lower one)
2 tsp. canola oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp. onion powder
4 cups cheese crackers OR goldfish crackers *
6 cups air-popped popcorn or microwave brand *
Mix together cereals and pretzels in large bowl. Combine barbecue sauce, oil, onion powder and garlic powder. Pour over cereal mixture. Stir well.
Spread cereal out on two large jelly roll pans or cookie sheets sprayed with cooking spray. Bake in 300° oven for 40 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
Remove from oven; stir in soy nuts, cheese crackers and popcorn. Let cool.
