12 oz. non-fat cream cheese
2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
1 ½ tsp. Dry dill weed
1 (14 ¾-oz.) can salmon, drained
¼ cup green onions or chives, thinly sliced
3 to 4 drops natural hickory liquid smoke, or to taste
Combine cream cheese, lemon juice and dill weed in bowl until blended. Add drained salmon, onion and liquid smoke; stir to combine. Chill several hours before serving.
Bones in canned salmon are soft enough to mash and will provide added calcium
Yield: 14 servings (1/4 cup each)
