Drop Off Old Medication at Waukesha Pharmacy

In an effort to reduce substance abuse, prevent childhood poisonings and help protect our environment Waukesha Pharmacy recently began a medication collection service. The pharmacy is located inside the east entrance at Waukesha Memorial Hospital.

Unwanted or expired medication can be dropped off for disposal at the main counter of the pharmacy during normal business hours. Medications must be in their original container. Almost any type of over-the-counter or prescription medication will be accepted, except scheduled drugs such as pain and anti-anxiety medication. The service is free!

Residents also have the option of mailing in their unwanted medications by purchasing an envelope for $5 at the pharmacy. The medication can be placed in the envelope, sealed and mailed in for disposal with no additional postage necessary.
