A flu shot is the best way to prevent the flu or lessen its effects. Because the body takes about 14 days to reach maximum immunity, most doctors recommend that patients at high risk for the flu be immunized in October or November - just in time for flu season, which usually begins in late fall and peaks in mid-February.
This year, ProHealth Care will administer thousands of flu shots throughout Waukesha and surrounding counties to anyone ages 6 months or older. We offer walk-in and appointment options. See our schedule.
The cost for a flu shot is $30. Cash, check and Medicare B are accepted.
Pneumonia shots will be offered at all adult clinic locations for $40. However, they will not be offered at the drive-thru clinics. Cash, checks and Medicare Part B accepted.
