The Community Benefit team is holding question and answer sessions for the Project SEARCH Easter Seals job-training program, which will be returning to ProHealth Care this fall.
Project SEARCH helps train young adults who have cognitive and physical disabilities for future employment. ProHealth’s Project SEARCH interns spend nine months gaining supervised work experience at ProHealth Waukesha Memorial Hospital.
In 2019, Project SEARCH interns trained in Food and Nutrition Services, Facilities, Logistics, Neuroscience Care, Heart & Vascular Care, Care Management, Nursing Administration and Pharmacy. The program was paused in 2020 due to the pandemic.
The 30-minute virtual sessions are scheduled for June 23 from 1 to 4 p.m. They are designed for leaders who would like to learn more about the program and discuss how a Project SEARCH rotation might work in their department. Please choose a session that works for you.
Pandemic and other safety precautions will be followed at all times to ensure the health and safety of everyone involved in the Project SEARCH program.
