ProHealth Medical Group loosens clinic visitation rules

Masks
Medical-grade masks must be worn at all times by employees and everyone else who enters a ProHealth location. Acceptable options are surgical masks and N95 or KN95 masks. These masks are more effective than cloth face coverings in preventing the spread of the virus. If needed, surgical masks will be made available for patients and companions.

Visitation
As the number of COVID-19 cases in our community declines, ProHealth Care has made visitation less restrictive.

Two family members or friends may accompany patients during clinic or outpatient office visits. One family member or friend may accompany patients during cancer center visits.

Those accompanying a patient must be 18 or older, and all must wear a medical-grade mask at all times within a ProHealth location. Visitors and companions will be asked to self-screen at our entrances and to leave if they have a fever or other signs of illness.

Anyone who is feeling unwell should not visit a health care facility unless it is to seek care.

New guidelines are also in place for patients seeing a provider or receiving care at a ProHealth hospital.
