About me

Philosophy of care

"Family medicine allows me to care for patients of all ages, and I enjoy the variety of new experiences that it provides. My goal is to make each patient feel comfortable during their visit so they can freely discuss their concerns. I believe that patient education is important to enhancing overall wellness."

Julie works on a care team with John Lesniak, MD and Michael Uy, MD. Together, they address the health concerns of their patients, coordinate medical services and deliver personalized care.

Very good experience

My appointment was for a physical and annual blood test at the same location as as my previous physicals. I had made the appointment months in advance. When I checked into the Hartland clinic I asked if the blood test would be before or after the physical. I was told after. Then, at the end of my physical, I was told I had to go to another location (it ended up being Oconomowoc) to have my blood test. Disappointing.

Good experience with provider and my bronchitis went away with Rx prescribed. I appreciated being tested for all possible illnesses. However, when my Covid antibody test came back more positive than it's ever been, I didn't care for her notes recommending I still get vaxed. Why would I want to give up my natural immunity (per ProHealth specialist who said that happens when vaxed) and get a shot (series of) that doesn't prevent the spread of Covid? My immunity kept me from getting Covid recently when a close friend had it. Unfortunately this person's mother (who was fully faxed) wasn't so lucky and died from it. Please tell your providers to stop recommending the Covid vax, especially for those with high natural immunity.

Julie was not engaging at all and seemed to be unhappy with either me or her job in general.

Overall it was a good experience. No real reason for my pain could be found, but I mostly wanted to know my foot was not broken so I can use it without too much worry . I can go about my walks without too much worry.

Be respectful in the notes that are written for all providers to see. Not just what your agenda is.

She had a soft voice and with our masks on it was difficult to hear her even when I asked her to speak louder. I did not wear my hearing aid so my ears could be checked .
