About me

Philosophy of care

"Heart rhythm disorders can severely impact quality of life and in extreme cases, they can lead to premature death. My goal is to free patients from the undue burden of their arrhythmias by offering safe, effective and compassionate treatment. I recognize that each patient's condition is unique and will partner with patients to help them make the best decisions about how to approach their illnesses. Together, we can determine whether to focus on preventive lifestyle changes, medical therapies, advanced procedural options or a combination of these."

Dr Aznaurov was fantastic. He listened to me and spoke to me like a friend rather than like a physician. I appreciated his approach to my care and his Philosophies regarding treatment plans. I would highly recommend for anyone needing to see an electrophysiologist or a cardiologist.

This was my fist time that I saw Dr. Sam Aznaurov for my irregular heart beats. He was very professional, answered my questions, explained things to me in laymen's terms and shared his education and background history with me. I appreciated his plan to treat me and what is expected in the next 3 months. I'm very appreciative that we have so many wonderful people that devote their lives in making our life better. Thank you.

This was my fourth office visit with Dr. Aznaurov and his demeanor and "bedside manner" was a 100% improvement from the three previous visits during which he was abrupt, dismissive, and admitted outright to me that he had so many patients that he does not have time to phone them with test results. I left those appointments feeling I was just a number and not a person and needed to find a different electrophysiologist. However, I left this fourth appointment quite satisfied and with a wonder as to what had been done with the previous Dr. Aznaurov. I am deeply appreciative of his patient relationship improvement! I am hopeful that future visits will mirror this last one.
