I think the nurse that takes the patients vitals before you see the doctor should tell the patient what those numbers areblood pressure, etc.

Had to have labs redrawn 2 more times as the results of one test could not be determined. Hopefully this 3rd time will be better as I am scheduled for surgery in 3 working days. Quite disappointed.

Regarding the prescription question; I was just prescribed a new medication for a TIA the week before in the hospital. The appt with Dr Boschek was a follow up to the hospital visit. She was not the prescribing physician, so Dr Boschek had not previously talked to me about the prescribed medication.
