About me

Philosophy of care

"My overarching principle is to treat every patient as if they were a member of my own family and partner with them to keep their skin healthy. I have advanced training in the detection and treatment of skin cancer (Mohs Surgery), and in facial reconstruction after skin cancer treatment. Through clear communication, my goal is to take the anxiety out of the diagnosis and make the skin cancer treatment as easy as possible from start to finish."

Dr. Burnett and his staff has provided me with outstanding care on several visits over the past couple of years. He is friendly and professional, listens to my concerns, and clearly explains details before and after each procedure. I highly recommend him and ProHealth to my friends and family.

I'm no doctor. I believe Dr. Burnett is a good dr. Nevertheless it seems to me that there should have twice as many stitches for the large incision he felt he needed to make. I came to this conclusion based on where it was located, the size of the incision & the fact that the incision didn't want to stay closed at one end. A possible recommendation would be to have a standard # of stitches per inch when the incision is longer than 1 1/2 inches. Mine was 3" long and had 3 stitches on the outside. I don't want to get him in trouble though.

Going in for MOHS surgery for facial cancer is different from most regular visits. (Willing to explain.)
