Elizabeth DeMeyer, APNP

Luz DeMeyer is an asset to ProHealth Care. She is very knowledgeable and really relates extremely well to me. I feel blessed to have her as my physician.

You do not have a receptionist help you check-in. I had to check myself in. Which I hateNo personal experience, just a number.

When I can't get in with my Dr, Liz is the one I like to see. Always professional, caring, willing to consider alternative therapies because of my drug allergies. Warm, kind, understanding.

I did get refereed to Moreland Ob-Gyn which was very confusing and I didn't feel understood. At one point one person insinuated that I might have cancer. Then scheduled an apt for me 7:30 AM the next morning. It was 3:30pm when I made the call, so it seemed very serious. I was given a 5 second Pap smear. I am losing large amounts of blood, which is why DeMeyer sent me to the OB. In summary I was told I probably need a hysterectomy but insurance won't cover it until I try hormone therapy for 3 months. It's been a nightmare with Moreland OB which is why I went back to DeMeyer to ask if I could be referred to someone else. She was professional but you could see it disturbed her to the treatment I was given. DeMeyer is setting me up with Women's Health Care SC but I'm to come back to DeMeyer if anything doesn't seem right. DeMeyer makes me feel cared for and understood.

I feel I'm getting outstanding medical, personal, and informed care possible!!

This provider is new to me as my previous primary care provider is no longer with ProHealth. I'm really pleased with all the staff I've met so far with this new provider!
