Our visit with Dr Faris and his staff was excellent.

Honestly, Dr. Faris is the best! I NEVER feel like I'm next not heard. My concerns are always met with respect understanding. My son loves his doctor. That's all I can ask for.

We have had a hard time switching pediatricians since we tragically lost ours. We found Dr. Faris and have never had a bad visit. He is full of knowledge that he seemingly enjoys sharing with us to make our small humans the best they can be.

The front desk did not give me information about the app. This was our first appointment with our newborn and we do not have the app set up. It would have been nice to get the information right away. Also, we actually had to visit another pediatrician the next day who advised that the vitamin d supplement (which was recommended by Dr Faris) was also available in a concentrated form so we didn't have to give our newborn a whole milliliter of liquid (would just need to give one drop instead). This seems very helpful for our exclusively breastfed newborn and I'm unsure of why Dr Faris did not let us know about this option.

We checked in with the receptionist on time and then waited for 45 min. When I checked back with reception it seems our arrival had never been sent to the nurse. 3 weeks earlier, we had waited 30 minutes before being called back to see the doctor. Dr. Faris is amazing but I was very frustrated with the office's inability to respect my time.

The check in situation is overwhelming and feels like a business appt instead of a Healthcare appointment. 5 employees standing there feels like walking into a car dealership. The use of kiosks and amount of kiosks feels extremely impersonal. The entrance feel/check in process made us almost decide this facility was not for us. Because we really valued Dr Faris, we are willing to give it another try.

Dr Sean Faris is invaluable to ProHealth Care. His reputation among local mom groups is impeccable and he comes extremely highly recommended via social media platforms. Word of mouth and peer input is highly valued amongst new moms and young families that are still finding their way in the parenting world. The fact he is so highly regarded speaks volumes of his character and quality of care. The knowledge and peace of mind he gives new moms in the struggle of postpartum and early parenthood is literally life-changing. His bedside manner is outstanding and he genuinely cares for it only his patients, but their family as well. All of that to say: the office and support staff are horrendous. The system that is used to screen calls and get information back to parents has failed me and many of my peers on numerous occasions. I don't know if the breakdown comes from his immediate nurses and aids or if it begins further up-front with scheduling and CSRs. But every time I call for something I (and many many of the people I speak with) are met with judgment, negative attitude, and all around unhelpfulness. Personally, I have called to get lab results (critical draw of a bilirubin for my newborn daughter) and was not told until nearly 24 hours later that my lab results were LOST. When Dr Faris finally was notified, he stepped in and stood up for me and my daughter's wellbeing. I honestly don't know what would have happened had he not been there for our family. I believe the lab now has new protocols when handling Bilirubin draws for infants after our experience. I understand that mistakes do happen, but my problem was that EVERY time I called to follow up, my questions were dismissed by the person who answered the phone. It was a fight to even get transferred back to speak to anyone that worked directly with Dr Faris (I was told simply "no" on more than one occasion, and hung up on once). All I wanted was to speak to someone who had been involved in my child's care, to know what I needed to do next. There is just no excuse for that behavior. Putting that incident aside, I called another time to inquire about making an appt for my child whom I thought may have a bladder infection/UTI (fever, pain while urinating, general malaise) and was just NEVER CONTACTED back. After 12+ hours of no contact (and trying to call back to follow up and being brushed off yet again) I took my child to an Aurora facility, where they happily treated him in a timely manner. The very common thread found: Is Dr Faris alone worth the headache and ineptitude of the staff around him? The answer among so many parents like me: so far, still yes. But ProHealth needs to support Dr Faris and their other valued physicians with the staffing and resources to be successful.

Great experience!

Without a doubt I would recommend Dr. Faris, and I have. He's great with my daughter AND with me. He's patient, kind, and thorough. He's also a great listener. My only wish is that he would treat adults - because I'd be happy if I could choose him as my doctor.

We continue to see Dr. Faris because he has a high standard of excellence when it comes to caring for his patients.
