Philosophy of care

"In medical school, I learned the word “doctor” comes from the Latin word for “teacher”. I aspire each day to embody this calling when collaborating with patients to manage their health. My goal is to learn as much as I teach, when working with them to achieve their wellness goals. I see patients as whole, unique and worthy individuals regardless of the health or social challenges they may be facing, and I approach them with empathy, respect and a deep reverence for their willingness to trust me to provide their health care."
