Dr. Hughes is a fantastic doctor. I really enjoy having her as my PCP.

Dr. Hughes is the best doctor I have ever had in all my years. They don't pay her enough, kind, understanding, listener, knowledgeable, professional, get back to you immediately.

The doctor took the time to review my records, answer questions, and listen. I would recommend her to others! Thank you!

I was glad that X-rays could be taken right there, rather than having to go to another facility.

This was my first appointment ever with Dr. Hughes to establish becoming a patient with her. When I called, I spoke with someone who was unfamiliar with PHC and it took me over 5 minutes trying to explain what I needed in regards to scheduling with my new PHC Health Insurance. They simply could not understand and continued asking questions about my old insurance which made it difficult to move forward in scheduling the actual appointment. As we were approaching my actual appointment, I wanted to check if the provider might need my old medical records so I tried to call into the clinic but received the automated options - which was frustrating there was no option for a live agent at the actual physical clinic. I would have to be transferred to the scheduling department again. And since I was not established yet, the option to email in MyChart to the provider was not accessible to me. The day of the appointment, I wanted to check to see if there might be an option to come in a bit earlier but again, there were no options to the direct physical clinic itself. These are my only concerns.

Very easy to talk to, and allowed me to be part of decisions

When I first scheduled this appointment to establish care with Dr. Hughes as my PCP, the first available date was a 9-month wait. Due to an opening in her schedule, I was able to get in after 6 months too long!

Dr. Hughes ordered an x-ray of my left wrist and left finger and was able to give me the results within 15 minutes, so I had a plan of care the very same day.

Second time I've seen Dr. Hughes for an injury. She tends to decide on a diagnosis, then warm to it and fight (politely) to convince you that's what you have she's been wrong both times. Diagnosis have been really far-fetched.

All good

I don't appreciate INSURANCE COMPANIES dictating time allowed for an appt. I'm a senior and being rushed causes me to not get to my questions. IMSURANCE COMPANIES makes me feel I'm not worth the time

I can't say enough about how great Dr. Hughes was for my appointment. She was so sweet, informative, and helped me with ways to improve my health. Excellent doctor!!
