Dr. Jill Larson has always been phenomenal with my care. I can tell that she really cares and listens to my concerns and trust her to do what's best for me. I wouldn't want to see any other provider, I recommended her to my mom and she's now her provider as well.

I'm always very happy with Dr Larson -- I feel very comfortable talking to her, and I trust her. I wanted my parents to see her too, but they went back to FLA before they could get appointments with her. I'm very happy with the care I get from her and feel lucky to have her as my doctor. I feel like I'm in very good hands with her.

My former physician retired. This was my first visit with this provider. I liked her and will be back. She did not know my entire medical history because she had never seen or heard of me before. This did not stop her from being very thorough and productive. Thanks.

I have seen Dr. Jill Larson for 15+ years, regularly for all health maintenance. I sent a Mychart message in Sept. 2021 for a simple uncomplicated case of acute cystitis and was looking to start on an antibiotic for the same. This is RARE for me as I am an otherwise healthy adult (no health history/diagnoses) and in the 15+ years I have seen Dr. Larson, have only had an acute visit once for an acute sinusitis years ago. I have never requested care or medications via telephone or Mychart. I was told I needed to give a urine culture before she would give me antibiotics. After reluctance, as this is not necessary per current UpToDate guidelines for Acute Cystitis (section: "Determining Microbiology Etiology", first paragraph) and per AAFP for Diagnosis and Treatment of Acute Uncomplicated Cystitis (section: "Physical Examination and Diagnostic Testing", second paragraph), I went for the urine culture so I could start the antibiotic to have relief for my symptoms. Macrobid was an appropriate antibiotic as I have a sulfa allergy. Further decreasing the need for urine culture as it has a very low resistance rate (1.6%) compared to Bactrim (>20%) that some providers like to utilize for UTI's. I was billed $300 for the unnecessary urine culture under my PPO plan. At my October physical with Dr. Larson, I mentioned the urine culture and the $300 I was billed for the same. I explained that I felt that my care was not individualized as this was a simple uncomplicated acute cystitis, with no priors, no comorbidities, no history of resistant bacterias, and...I had been working from home for 2 years at that time. She IMMEDIATELY became argumentative and stated, "This is current practice so it is not about individualizing care, and I am so disappointed that you don't know that." and "I could have charged you for XY and Z, but I didn't. You have a job! You can pay for it!" I literally could not get a word in edgewise despite my calm demeanor and just wanting to have a discussion about It. I was so appalled at her unprofessionalism and her dismissive attitude toward my concern. I have learned that my provider was no longer staying up to date with current practice guidelines and have made the decision to find another provider. It truly is a shame I was treated that way.

The best doctor that has helped me more then specialists.

I messaged my doctor ahead of my appointment to request orders for annual bloodwork so that it could be completed before my appointment and we could discuss the results. The request seemed to get lost and didn't get answered until eight days later after two more messages that day. I often feel like messages in My Chart with all Prohealth doctors are screened and often don't get to the physician. That's very frustrating for the patient.
