Although he was immediately concerned about a new health concern and provided me a referral to a specialist, he did not provide me any instructions on how to deal with it until I could see the specialist, which I would have appreciated.

Dr. McGown is everything I want in a primary care MD. He's careful, listens well, and makes suggestions for my care. He does not hesitate to provide referrals. He's genuinely kind. I'm lucky to have him as my primary provider.

Another Doctor said Doctor McGowan could reorder a prescription because I have not seen that Doctor for about 2 years. Doctor McGowan did not want to. This is one of the reasons health care is so very expensive.
