Philosophy of care

“I always treat the people I see as the core part of their health care teams. It is my goal to be an advocate for them and to empower them with health knowledge and the motivation to improve their health. Over the course of our encounters, we will grow towards a trusting friendly relationship as a foundation for when medical treatment is warranted and will do so considering their personal needs, with clear evidence-based medicine to keep them comfortable, safe and healthy.”

Dr. Mungo was great. He showed me respect and listened clearly to everything that I said. He gave me pointers and said that he would continue to do research to find me the best provider to help start a family. However, I waited over 20 minutes in the waiting room to get lab work done after my appointment. The woman who performed my lab work was very rude. When I sat down, she said "arm," "squeeze," and "are you good" several times. I was completely fine, just did not feel the need to entertain the interaction because of how rude she was to me. The entire interaction was rude, snippy, and not professional.

Dr Mungo is a very respectful and compassionate doctor. He listened to all my needs/concerns and responded accordingly. After ordering a number of tests, he responded very quickly with all the results. Upon my receiving the results, I asked him questions and he responded promptly! Which was very much appreciated and does not happen very often with other doctors. I am looking forward to Dr. Mungo, being my new endocrinologist.

Dr Mungo was very concerned about my condition and asked many questions regarding my overall health and was very attentive to my concerns. He made a small adjustment to my medication and suggested a plan if I was ill and needed extra medication. I was very impressed with his compassion and concern.
