Philosophy of care

“I always treat the people I see as the core part of their health care teams. It is my goal to be an advocate for them and to empower them with health knowledge and the motivation to improve their health. Over the course of our encounters, we will grow towards a trusting friendly relationship as a foundation for when medical treatment is warranted and will do so considering their personal needs, with clear evidence-based medicine to keep them comfortable, safe and healthy.”

Dr. Mungo loves spending time with his wife and three sons, who keep his time away from the office full of fun. He enjoys running and typically tries to do a 5k twice a week. If there is a festival, concert, sporting event or new restaurant in town, Dr. Mungo will be there.

I had an outstanding experience. My wife was with me. Arriving staff greeted us with a smile and genuinely treated us with respect. They took time to answer a few questions. Then the MA greeted us with a smile. Showed us to the exam room.As a new patient the provider greeted us with a smile. He took time to know me before discussing medical reason I was referred to him. I appreciated his casual style. Then we discussed medical reason for my visit. It was obvious he had reviewed my chart prior to the visit. It was clear he had great experience regarding reason for my visit. Knowledgeable regarding current treatment options. Shared current research on the topic and options to consider. We had a plan going forward. Thank you for a great experience.Service excellence from our first contact.
