Philosophy of care

“Helen Keller felt her hearing loss was more devastating than her blindness because it isolated her from people rather than things. My goal is to provide the highest quality diagnostic and rehabilitative service to patients who are struggling with hearing and communication difficulty. Understanding the impact of individual hearing loss on everyday living is essential in educating patients to make informed decisions about their hearing health care.”

Good experience - Needed part of hearing aid removed from my ear. My audiologist was able to do this and repair my hearing aid on sight.

I did not feel really comfortable with this doctor. This visit seemed very routine; there was minimal connection made-no personalty was shown.

Dr. Nelson checked my hearing aids which were not working properly and sent them in for warranty work. She then gave me a loaner pair of aids to use in the meantime. Dr. Nelson was very professional and caring!

Appointment was with audiology - tested previously 5 yrs. ago - now wanting retest and know I need hearing aids. Test and explanation went fine - found out very confusing that hearing aids from a Pro Health provided could only help me if I paid and purchased threw them - so now I felt lost.

Dr. Nelson was very competent at determining what the issue was with my hearing aid and corrected the issue. Dr. Nelson and her staff are knowledgeable, courteous, and expert educators.
