I'm also being observed at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. I've never been able to get MRI images from Mayo into your system using "MyChart." I have to bring a disk from Mayo to Radiology and have them load it. It didn't get to Dr. Smith in time for this appointment.

This was my annual neurology visit with Dr. Stanya Smith. She is always prompt and professional. She has always provided suggestions for my migraine journey as well as for my overall health. She bases her treatment on science and research and I highly appreciate that.

My visit with Dr Smith started out uneasy. I felt that she was agitated with either myself or something else. I was explaining symptoms of the current medication I am taking knowing that we would probably need to try something else. I felt there was little patience in what I was trying to say. The doctor left the room to get my printout when she came back, she seem to have changed her demeanor and was speaking to me in an understanding and patient tone which is what I have experienced in the past. We agreed to a new plan of trying a new medication with the understanding that it may also give me side affects but I will keep Dr Smith informed and see her in 6 months. I am hoping that this was a one off incident as I respect her and would like to continue working with her on my case
