This was the first time for me to see Dr. Syed I was referred to her. Very nice young woman

It was difficult to understand Dr.Syed. I had to ask her to repeat herself several times.

She did not seem like she was engaged in the visit. When I asked her about a skin condition clearly on my middle calf, she told me twice to see a podiatrist, later she would say a dermatologist. She didn't explain why my sugar was peaking. She contradicted with previous advice I was given about carbs, even the dieticians. I feel this visit was a waste. She changed one of my meds for another. I said I had 10 weeks remaining. She kept saying to come back in 3 months. After I repeated 10 weeks, she changed it to 4 months. Actually it would take at least 5 months before the new med would be affecting my A1C. It seemed as if she wasn't thinking or listening to me.

I like this doctor very much but I wish she had prepared me for the cost of the new medication.
