Brenda is, by far, the best and I want her to be my primary. But she cannot. So I am switching to a different primary, GP. All the nursing staff at Big Bend is wonderful too.

Brenda listened to my complaints and gave me a through exam, but even though I told the clinical assistant our pharmacy was Walmart ,my antibiotics and cough medicine was sent to a mail order pharmacy. When I called the office to alert them I was told it would take 2-3 days the person did not comprehend the need for antibiotics. I did not get the meds until the next day after the triage nurse called and she sent them to Walmart .I had called the mail order to cancel the order so I could pick up the meds .

This provider went above and beyond my expectations. Showed utmost concern, communicated clearly and spent enough time explaining my concerns in a form that was very understandable to me. I would highly recommend her!

I arrived for urgent care, to find that the wait was almost 4 hours! The head receptionist realized I was a regular patient of the clinic and instead gave me a regular appointment time with my doctor's nurse practitioner for the same day at about the same time. The NP was very nice and helpful and listened to my concerns. This strategy saved me hours of time waiting and got me on my way an hour later. I was very grateful that she did that for me.
