Dr. Wassenaar goes above and beyond just speaking to us about his health situation and any topic Mark asks him about (educational path, sports and what his children are doing).

Prior to my appointment I needed lab work. I went into the prohealth lab on National Ave. I told the receptionist I was there for lab work ordered by Dr. Wassenaar. The phlebotomist drew the labs ordered by a different physician. I had to have more labs drawn. I told the front desk person, not the phlebotomist. The experience with Dr Wassenaar and his staff was exceptional. The experience with the lab on National Ave was terrible.

Dr. Wassenaar always does a great job explaining everything I need to know about the status of my disorder. I feel reassured when I leave that we have thoroughly covered all facets of my condition. Dr. Wassenaar is genuinely vested in the management of my disorder. I feel 100% confident that he has my best interest and well being in mind at all times. Highly recommended.

Not really negative but I was called and told someone referred me because I started taking Eliquis in January after being diagnosed with A-Fib. I just think this appointment was NOT NECESSARY because the Doctor just told me he recommended I stay on it. No tests or blood was needed and I had already been told I would most likely be on it for the rest of my life. I will get charged for an office visit that was NOT NEEDED.

If your test show you have cancer this is the best place to go, everyone is very kind and caring and they give you a lot of moral support during and after treatment.
