Philosophy of care

“I find working in radiation oncology very fulfilling. Using the constantly advancing technologies, I am able to create the best treatment plans for my patients. I enjoy empowering patients by educating them about their cancer and their treatments, and then supporting them with care and compassion. I value the relationships I build with my patients throughout their cancer journey, as each one is special and unique.”

The wait time was very long and I would have appreciated an update while I was sitting behind the closed exam room door. The doctor did explain the waiting and facilitated others I needed to see during my visit.

Dr Weyers explained everything thoroughly and felt calmer after speaking to her about my recent cancer diagnosis. She was very clear about the plan for radiation and what will happen next. Very personable and really showed she cared as well as her nurse Jennifer.
