Michelle loves to fat shame people. Even when healthy and asked not to. I always leave in tears because she focuses so much on weight. I'm not obese. I have no weight related health issues, I've never asked for advice, and other doctors don't treat me like she does. I've asked other doctors to note that I have a history of eating disorders so she won't bring it up. She stumbled over It maybe knowing Ive talked before about not bringing It up but in my after visit notes she made it very clear she thinks I need help. Also about my mental health. The day I met her my dad had died hours before. So I was visibly upset. She still brings it up saying I'm emotionally unstable and I need help.I see my therapist every other week. Do I need help with that? Nope. But the anxiety of seeing her I do. It's once a year and I dread it because of how she makes me feel.

APNP Michelle made me comfortable during my appointment. She took time to explain my diagnosis, future appointments, possible procedures and more importantly answered all of my questions.

I was referred to the breast cancer high risk clinic. I felt very well cared for and listened to. The meeting was very informative and not rushed. I would say my only surprise what after the visit when I looked at my appt report, it seemed very cookie cutter and not personalized to my visit. I felt that it was standard language that could have been used for anyone and did not reflect the personal conversations we had. I also work in healthcare marketing and assume there is probably liability concerns with free text or putting a process in place to ensure that the correct information is included. But as I said, I expected to see more details of our discussion and it was a pretty generic report.

She wrote from the meeting that I did not want the new ultrasound procedure for dense breasts. In May after mammogram but I was also interested in it for 2026!

I highly value the service that Michelle Willman provides. I feel so fortunate to have someone on my medical team that plays this role. It gives me so much peace of mind to know that I am being monitored well. Plus I appreciate how compassionate & understanding Michelle is, & takes into account non-medical factors in decision-making.
