ProHealth Care now offers urgent care services and online reservations in Mukwonago

Woman on the phone.ProHealth Care has opened an urgent care location at its clinical campus in Mukwonago, located at 240 Maple Avenue.

The services are provided in six spacious exam rooms adjacent to the emergency department. Urgent care patients should use the emergency department driveway and entrance.

Area residents can make an online reservation for an urgent care visit, or just walk in for care. An appointment is not required, and you do not need to be a ProHealth patient to take advantage of the service.

People who make reservations online can rest at home or continue to work until the time of their reservation.

Anyone can visit ProHealthCare.org/UrgentCare to see the number of patients already in line at urgent care locations in Brookfield, Mukwonago, New Berlin, Oconomowoc, Pewaukee, Watertown and Waukesha. They can select a location for care, provide basic information, and reserve a visit time. The process takes only a minute

After making a reservation, patients will receive a confirmation by text, and a reminder. If necessary, a notification will also be sent if there is an unexpected delay, and an updated reservation time will be provided.

Once patients with online reservations check in at an urgent care location, they typically wait less than two minutes before being escorted to a room for care.

ProHealth urgent care locations include on-site lab and X-ray services. They offer a convenient way to receive care when a primary care provider isn’t available and same-day care is needed for minor conditions, such as:

  • Allergy symptoms
  • Cuts and scrapes, including those that need stitches
  • Earaches and ear infections
  • Pink eye
  • Skin infection or rash
  • Sprains and strains
  • Most other minor injuries and illnesses

Anyone with infectious disease symptoms such as headache, cough, fever, chills, shortness of breath, aches and pain, gastrointestinal illness, sore throat, or sudden loss of taste or smell, should stay at home and make an urgent care reservation or schedule a virtual urgent care visit. Call 911 if you are experiencing severe symptoms such as difficulty breathing.

ProHealth Care’s urgent care locations are open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, visit ProHealthCare.org/UrgentCare.
