Christine Klawiter, APNP, is accepting family medicine patients at ProHealth Medical Group’s Waukesha clinic

ProHealth Medical Group has announced that advanced practice nurse practitioner Christine Klawiter, APNP, is accepting new family medicine patients at the ProHealth clinic on Big Bend Road in Waukesha.

Nurse practitioners have advanced training that combines clinical expertise with an emphasis on disease prevention and wellness. They see patients of all ages as they diagnosis and treat illnesses and injuries, order and interpret diagnostic tests, manage chronic conditions, prescribe medications, and educate patients about health.

"I work collaboratively with patients of all ages," Klawiter said. "It's important to provide education so my patients can achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle and enhance their overall wellness. My goal is to make them feel comfortable during their visits, so they can freely discuss their concerns."

Klawiter has been part of the medical team at ProHealth’s Waukesha clinic for almost seven years and has 27 years of experience as a nursing professional. She earned her master’s degree from Concordia University in Mequon and is certified as a family medicine nurse practitioner.

The ProHealth Medical Group clinic is on the south side of Waukesha at 2130 Big Bend Road. If patients require procedures or hospitalization, they can be admitted to ProHealth Waukesha Memorial Hospital or ProHealth Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital.
