The physicians are Betsy Erickson, DO, Adam Kress, DO, Marisa Kress, DO, Rachael Rainey-Thomas, MD, Elizabeth Ridge, MD, and Rylee Venn, DO.
Eight or more years of education have prepared the physicians to provide a wide range of services, including prenatal care, preventive care, treatment of routine ailments, and care for emerging and chronic conditions. They also coordinate care with medical specialists when needed.
While serving as residents, the family medicine physicians will provide outpatient care at the clinic located at 210 NW Barstow St. They will also provide care for hospitalized patients at ProHealth Waukesha Memorial Hospital and receive advanced clinical training in family medicine and obstetrics.
Most family medicine providers serve a three-year residency. Some residents stay for an additional year of specialty training.
“ProHealth’s residency program ensures that our graduates have the breadth and depth of training they will need to best care for their patients and communities,” said Patrick Ginn, MD, interim director of the residency program.
Patients who wish to schedule an appointment with a physician at the Waukesha clinic on Barstow Street can call 262-548-6903. Online scheduling is also available directly from the physician profiles at ProHealthCare.org.
The physicians also will provide 150 hours of volunteer care at the Waukesha Free Clinic at Carroll University during each year of their residency.
