Community Health Needs Assessment identifies three areas of focus
ProHealth Care recently completed a new Community Health Needs Assessment and developed an implementation strategy for its hospitals, as required by the Affordable Care Act. All not-for-profit hospitals must complete an assessment every three years.

The needs assessment is a robust, data-driven process that includes community surveys, focus groups, and input from a wide range of local partners, community members, providers and employees. Analysis of the data collected in 2025 identified three primary areas of focus for the organization as it works to enhance community health and well-being:
- Healthy aging
- Substance use
- Mental health
The assessment for each ProHealth hospital service area and strategies to address community needs can be found on ProHealth’s consumer website. Previous reports are also available online.
