Therapy for speech impairments that improves voice and communication

Our speech/language pathologists often work as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team to help people with:

  • Cognitive aspects of communication (e.g., attention, memory, problem solving)

  • Speech (pronunciation, articulation, resonance)

  • Swallowing or other upper aerodigestive functions 

  • Voice (hoarseness, poor vocal volume, and rough, breathy or strained vocal quality). 

  • Sensory awareness related to communication, swallowing, or other upper aerodigestive functions.
