Birthing and NICU

Donor impact

The ProHealth Care Foundation supports so many crucial programs – cancer treatment, hospice care, cardiovascular health, community benefit programming, the Hispanic Health Resource Center, patient transportation needs – in short, the medical access and capabilities people of every age need to thrive.

In the past year alone, donor gifts have been used to purchase innovative equipment, invest in technology that improves patient care, educate the next generation of health care providers, address community needs and transform lives. We’ve highlighted just a few of the programs supported by donor giving in 2025.

ANGELSGRACE HOSPICE

Donor funding expands access to care for those with limited financial resources, offers specialized training to clinical staff and chaplains, and ensures the comfort of patients via music therapy and other care measures. 2025 grants: $1,000,000+

NEONATAL INTENSIVE CARE UNIT (NICU)

Funding supports facility expansion and expert care for our tiniest patients within Waukesha County’s only level III unit. 2025 grants: $400,000 ($2,000,000 over five years.)

CANCER CARE

Donor funds support financial assistance, educational opportunities for patients and the care team, pioneering technology, lifesaving equipment, and research to improve overall survival rates. 2025 grants: $414,000

EDUCATION

With an eye on the future of healthcare, the Foundation funds scholarships and specialized training programs for staff as well as scholarships for health professions students. 2025 grants: $400,000

RESEARCH INSTITUTE

Generous contributions allow ProHealth to fund research opportunities. Members of our community in turn have continued access to potentially life-saving clinical trials – close to home. 2025 grants: $430,000
